TeachersLab
TeachersLab started because I wanted to build a useful product with LLMs, not another general-purpose chat interface.
Generic assistants do not know a teacher’s board, syllabus, current unit, textbook, or previously generated material. A teacher handling several classes has to provide that context again and again, and then spend time adapting the result for the classroom.
I built TeachersLab around this missing context. It works with the Indian curriculum and keeps classes, subjects, and teaching material organized. Teachers can use it to create lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and other material while spending more of their time on teaching.
Building the product involved the generation workflows, frontend and backend, authentication, logging, subscriptions, deployment, and the routine engineering needed to keep it reliable.
